In a medium bowl, sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, milk and melted butter until smooth.
Then add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until well blended.
Prepare your mini waffle iron by lightly greasing it with butter or using cooking spray. Pour about 3 tablespoons of batter into the waffle iron and cook until the waffles turn a beautiful golden hue. Repeat with the remaining batter.
