Where are Bohem products made?

All our products are designed and manufactured in Quebec.

Why is olive oil and its derivatives a key ingredient?

Used since antiquity, olive oil is a natural treasure with numerous benefits for the skin. We use our own, harvested and traditionally pressed on our land in Greece, to ensure impeccable quality and traceability. Rich in essential fatty acids, particularly oleic acid and vitamin E, it deeply nourishes, soothes sensitive skin, strengthens the skin barrier, and protects against external aggressions.

Alongside it, we incorporate derivatives such as olive squalane—a lightweight, non-comedogenic active ingredient that is perfectly tolerated by all skin types, even oily or reactive ones. Traditional, natural, and backed by science, olive oil and its derivatives embody our skincare philosophy: effective, gentle, and deeply respectful of the skin.

In what order should serums be applied?

Are Bohem skincare products clean?

Yes. While the term clean has no universal definition, we are committed to formulating our products according to the strictest safety standards. We combine natural ingredients with safe active compounds, always respecting your skin and health. Our products are cruelty-free and free from parabens, sulfates (SLS/SLES), silicones, mineral oils, synthetic fragrances, and other controversial ingredients.

Can Bohem skincare products be used during pregnancy?

The majority of our products are perfectly suitable for pregnant women, as they are formulated without controversial ingredients such as parabens, phthalates, retinoids, or potentially irritating essential oils.

The only exception is our Timeless Serum, which contains retinol, a derivative of vitamin A. In high doses, vitamin A may pose a risk to fetal development. While topical application carries very low risk, we recommend following the precautionary principle during pregnancy. For us, safety and gentleness are at the heart of our formulas, ensuring you can care for your skin with confidence at every stage of life. If in doubt, we recommend consulting your healthcare professional.

Do Bohem skincare products contain allergens?

In general, Bohem products do not contain common allergens such as soy, bovine proteins, or lactose. However, the Hydrating Barrier Cream contains oat extract, known for its soothing, moisturizing, and antioxidant properties. While oats are naturally gluten-free, they may be contaminated with gluten during processing or harvesting.

The Hydrating Barrier Cream also contains shea butter. While shea butter is generally non-allergenic, cross-reactions may occur in individuals with nut allergies.

Do Bohem skincare products contain fragrance?

Yes, our products contain a 100% plant-based fragrance. Bohem is designed as a sensory experience, and to enhance your skincare ritual, we have chosen to add a natural botanical fragrance. This fragrance makes up less than 1% of our product formulas.

Are Bohem products vegan?

Yes, except for the Timeless Serum, which contains silk.

Can men use Bohem products?

Absolutely! Our skincare products are designed to suit all skin types, regardless of gender. Whether your skin is sensitive, dry, combination, or acne-prone, our minimalist yet effective formulas adapt to your needs.

As for Bohem’s signature fragrance, it is 100% plant-based, subtle, and unisex—crafted to appeal to everyone, free from stereotypes.

What is the shelf life of Bohem products?

To ensure optimal effectiveness and full benefits, we recommend using Bohem skincare products within 9 months of opening.
The Vitamin C Radiance Serum, which is more sensitive to oxidation, should be used within 6 months of opening.

What should I do if I have a reaction to a product?

Every skin is unique, and even with carefully selected natural ingredients, a product may not always suit everyone immediately. This may be due to various factors, such as seasonal changes, hormonal fluctuations, pregnancy, or interactions with other skincare products.
