Tomato and Strawberry Bruschetta

Ingredients
- 1/2 baguette bread
- 75 ml (1/3 cup) La Belle Excuse Extra Virgin Green Olive Oil
- La Belle Excuse Mediterranean Fleur de Sel and pepper, to taste
Bruschetta:
- 2 tomatoes, finely diced
- 1 cup strawberries, finely diced
- 6 to 8 fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 10 ml (2 teaspoons) La Belle Excuse Mountain Oregano Dried on Stem
- 10 ml (2 teaspoon) La Belle Excuse lemon and white balsamic vinegar
- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) La Belle Excuse Extra Virgin Green Olive Oil
- La Belle Excuse Mediterranean Fleur de Sel, to taste
Steps
- Preheat oven to 400F and place rack in center.
- Cut 1 cm-thick croutons and place on baking sheet.
- Drizzle croutons with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper and bake for 10 minutes.
- Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, combine all bruschetta ingredients, then let stand for a minimum of 30 minutes.
- Serve bruschetta mixture on the croutons.
