Serves: 2
Prep Time: 15–20 minutes
Cook Time: 15–20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) honey
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) sesame seeds
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) sesame oil
  • A few fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 60 ml (¼ cup) La Belle Excuse White Balsamic Vinegar
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp) La Belle Excuse Extra Virgin Green Olive Oil
  • 300 g (10.5 oz) ground beef
  • ¼ green cabbage, finely chopped
  • 1 carrot, cut into thin sticks
  • ½ English cucumber, cut into thin sticks
  • 1 apple, cut into thin sticks
  • 2 extra-large flour tortillas

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the honey, sesame seeds, sesame oil, cilantro, green onions, white balsamic vinegar, and olive oil.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. When the beef is halfway cooked, add half of the vinaigrette and continue cooking until the beef is fully cooked.
  3. Divide the beef between the tortillas. Top with the cabbage, carrot, cucumber, and apple.
  4. Fold the sides of the tortillas inward, then roll tightly to close the wraps.
  5. If desired, place the wraps seam-side down in a hot skillet and cook for a few minutes on each side, until the tortillas are lightly golden and crispy.
  6. Serve the wraps warm with the remaining vinaigrette on the side
